Six-block flying machine

Six blocks that fly by themselves: two sticky pistons take turns pushing and pulling two slime blocks, and observers set each push off. Start it by placing a block on top of it.

How it works, part by part

1 · Slime blocksBlocks stuck to slime move with it, so each push carries the next piston and observer along.
2 · Sticky pistonsThey face each other. One pushes the machine one block forward, then the other pulls the rest after it.
3 · ObserversEach observer powers the slime block behind it, and the slime powers a piston. Each observer fires when the machine moves, which sets off the next push.
4 · Start observerTo start the machine, place any block on top of this observer: it flies north until it hits something it can't push. A block against the other observer's face sends it south instead.
