2×2 piston door
Flip the lever and four sticky pistons pull the door blocks into the wall. Flip it back and they close the doorway again. The wiring is under the floor and inside the wall.
How it works, part by part
1 · LeverOn opens the door, off closes it. It sits on the floor and powers the floor block under it, which powers the dust right below.
2 · Wiring under the floorOne layer below the floor, dust carries the lever's signal to both sides of the door. A repeater at each end powers the block under the torch.
3 · Torch invertersHidden under the wall. A torch is lit while its block is unpowered: lever off, the torches are lit and power the block above them, and dust on top of that block passes the power to the upper piston. Lever on: they go out and the pistons pull back.
4 · Sticky pistonsTwo on each side, in the wall. Extended, they hold the door blocks in the doorway; retracting, they pull the blocks into the wall.
5 · Door blocksFour stone blocks that fill the 2×2 doorway when it is closed.
6 · FloorEvery block you walk on is a full block, so you can use any floor you like: the wiring is one layer below it.
